Research Programs

Overview

There are four major areas of research focus in the Institute.

The IRCI comprises four research programs: Biblical and Early Christian Studies, Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Philosophy, and Religion and Theology.

Within these four programs, the Institute unites groups of researchers who have established international research track records in New Testament studies, early Christian studies, medieval and early modern studies (MEMS), historical and constructive theology, philosophy (including epistemology, ethics, history of philosophy, philosophy and phenomenology of religion, political philosophy, and metaphysics), and religious studies.
